Vacation Rental Stays on the Rise!

According to TripAdvisors 4th annual vacation rentals survey, more and more travellers are seeing the value in vacation homes. Survey results showed, "49% of U.S. travelers have stayed or are planning to stay in a rental home in 2013. That’s up from 46% in 2012 and 40% in 2011."

"The biggest driver for going this route over staying in a hotel is savings, especially for those traveling with a large group. And 82% of travelers surveyed feel they can find great last-minute deals as well. Plus, there are benefits like full kitchens and laundry rooms, and a more spacious, family-friendly stay."

Other survey results: -53% say that they’d most like to try a beachfront villa vacation rental -89% prefer a vacation rental on a family vacation -25% would be most tempted to book if the rental has a private beach.
