Casa Toscana is a beautiful gem of a property in the Historic Center of Mazatlán. Very close to grocery stores and the Pino Suarez Market, and just minutes from the Plaza Machado, local restaurants, and diverse shops.
The house was recently renovated and has a charming private courtyard towards the back of the property, as well as sky-lights to bring in natural sunlight. There is outdoor dining for up to 6 people, a gas BBQ, lighting and tropical plants.
The master bedroom with king-size bed and full ensuite are back in the casita, ensuring a nice quiet place to rest. The second bedroom is in the main house, and has a double (matrimonial) size bed and original antique furniture.
The spacious living room is located at the front of the house, followed by a full bathroom with shower, and the second bedroom with double bed. The fully stocked kitchen and dining areas are integrated and open out onto the courtyard.
Next to these areas is also a cozy TV room and a sleeper sofa for 2 people. The TV is a 55” smart TV on a full motion wall mount, with Prime Video. You can watch tv or stream music while cooking or in the bedroom. The internet here is fast and available throughtout the house. Perfect for streaming a show or movie, or for tackling some work while you enjoy life in Mexico!
Short term rentals include $700 pesos per month of electricity, gas, internet and water. Ruben, the gardener, goes 2 - 3 times a week, depending on the season, to water and clean the garden. A cleaner also goes to the house once every 2-weeks. You will see her if your stay is 2-weeks or longer :) otherwise, the property will be cleaned before your arrival, and after your check-out. Additional cleanings are available upon request, and can be paid in cash.
